About

My name is Liz Sweales and I am the founder of LOVE.DANCE. I have a degree in contemporary dance from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. I am also a fully-qualified UK school teacher having completed my PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate in Education) in dance at Middlesex University, London and then passing my QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) at Westminster Academy, a large secondary school in central London.

I founded LOVE.DANCE in Shanghai in 2015 where I taught contemporary dance to primary aged children , launched an adult dance class for the local community and created a dance film ‘Missing Space’ with my youth dance company. Following this, I relocated to Budapest to continue my adventure where I currently lead contemporary dance programmes at many of the International Schools, offering dance to adults, as well as developing my own classes such as ‘Yo baby!’, ‘On the Move’ and ‘After Party’; unique and creative classes that immerse younger children into the world of dance.

I am a qualified Rambert Grades teacher, delivering a pioneering contemporary dance syllabus for ages 4+years.
